Okay so it’s been awhile since we actually shot this session. Last spring, to be exact. And truly, I thought I blogged it and I’m shocked that I didn’t! One of those very Jodie things to do….doing things in my head but not actually getting them done in real life. Oopsie.

Anyhow – this session – I mean…it’ll speak for itself, but it was a dream. A DREAM. Walking into interior designer Amy Horany’s home….I had to physically push my chin up because my jaw dropped and I’m pretty sure I drooled a little bit. But somehow I managed to get it together pretty quickly – especially when I saw this little squishy toddler running around and I immediately wanted to follow him around with my camera.

After that, it was a mixture of stopping and commenting on ALL THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS I was surrounded by, and clicking away at ALL THE ADORABLE MOMENTS between this sweet family. This was simply a beautiful, lazy day. That’s it. A Saturday morning – plain and simple.

I’m so glad we did this session because they’ve moved and are building a brand new home (go check out amyhorany.com and follow their adventure!). I know it will be so nice to look back at these photos as the years go by to see what their old home looked like when their babies were still so young!
