Easily one of the top things I love about my job is getting to watch families grow.

It’s seeing a mom who didn’t think she could possibly love another child as much as her first realize that her heart just doubled in size. It’s seeing a second-time dad more relaxed with his second baby than his first because he knows now that he isn’t going to break them. It’s watching the once only-child embrace the role of being a big brother or big sister – but still signaling to their mom that they need their undivided attention, even if just for a few seconds. It’s walking into a home and seeing new bassinets and strollers and bottles everywhere and baby yawns and burp cloths and the joy and chaos of it all. I’m here for it, and I’m honored to do it – every single time.
